Introduced as ‘the oldest song he knows’ Madé played a blistering version of New Orleans standard St James infirmary at the Couleur Café festival!

We’ve been keeping busy last couple of weeks (and trying to ignore the absence of summer) with TV, radio and press interviews for the festival season and have played our first festival season shows, the Fete de L’Iris in Brussels and the Fiesta du Rock in Flemalle. This weekend we are playing Couleur Café in Brussels and the Vibrations festival in Malmedy on the same day, gonna be a real rock n roll day. On saturday the 5th of May Madé J. was invited to play on the stage in front of the royal palace in Brussels for the yearly Brussels celebration, Feté de l’Iris. This was the first show in series of festival shows that he will be playing throughout the summer, check our concert dates for more info. The show was filmed and we will soon be uploading a few songs from the show, so watch this space!
Before the D6bels show, their journalists tried to pick Madé’s brain about his influences, about Brussels and more. Did they get the answers they expected or wanted. We’ll let you be the judge!
The night before taking off to Bali for the end of the year with cousin Christopper, Madé and his band decided to play one last surprise acoustic show for friends and fans. The setlist of the show was the full Das Rumble album played in an acoustic format along with some covers and favourites. Such as Got My Mojo Working by Muddy Waters which featured Chrystal Ouchene on vocals. We just got this footage courtesy of Julien Patalano and Audrey Tacon.

This week we played on the Belgian TV show D6bels on Stage together with B.J. Scott, Dan San & Sirius Plan. We got to introduce our new drummer, the legendary Johnny Trash who rocked the shit out of his drumkit! On the menu was the new single Your Pet and I Get By, both from the Das Rumble album. The show will air on Belgian TV RTBF La Deux the 1st of March, so if you’re in Belgium you know what to do. If youre at the bar that night, we will soon have the footage on Youtube for posterity. The show has been bought up by TV5 Monde, but the air dates are still not confirmed. We will let you know as soon as we do! After a few months down in Bali its now time to get back on the promo euro-promo circuit and loads to do. We got radio interviews, acoustic shows and 2 TV performances to get busy with. Were looking forward to doing the belgian D6bel show together with BJ Scott & others. More on that later! For now heres a video from a Belgian TV show called “Service Compris”.
Last week Hurley opened shop in Ubud, which is their sixth store in Bali. I got invited down to Jam a few tunes. If you’re passing by Ubud you should drop by and check it out!

The show will be aired on the RTBF and on TV5 monde. As soon as we know the air dates we will post the info.
Hey everyone, I’m down chilling on paradise Island, also known as Bali. I’m taking some time off to write some new tunes and hang out before I head back to Europe in February for more rock n roll mayhem. Last week I got invited to Mia Taninaka’s vernissage at the Deus Gallery and got a chance to rock the stage with my buddies of the Hydrant.
Apart from writing and generally chilling out, I do still do enjoy the company of my friend Mr Daniels. Heres a pic of myself, Mr. Daniels and Dustin Humphrey of the Deus – Temple of Enthusiasm. Deus is a must visit place when you are in Bali and if I’m there lets have a shot together!

Today we shot down to the studio of Belgiums premier rock radio station, Classic 21, and did an acoustic session & interview. Graeme (bass) and my cousin Christopper (stand-up drums) were there to rip up the studio floor with me. The video clips will be available on Classic 21 website in approximately a week and the audio should be playing on the radio along side the Your Mine single. Heres a couple of pics from the session.
After much anticipation the album Das Rumble has been released and can be bought on the Itunes store (and all your other favourite digital distribution points, Amazon etc) and it is available as a hard copy in our own webshop. In BLux the album is available at FNAC, Mediamarkt, Saturn, Cora as well as at all good record stores. So now’s the time to show your support and put your money where your mouth is!!
Thank you to everyone who came down to our album release showcase last night, Billy Joe and DJ Gamma GT made the night a killer. To celebrate this we have released the second video we shot in L.A. which had been preceded by a similarly wild night! Enjoy!

While in L.A. shooting the video for Your Mine, he was invited out to Hurley in Costa Mesa to record an exclusive acoustic session in their studio. A big shout goes out to Davey who welcomed us there and engineered the session. See you next time buddy!
